Today has been a busy busy day! Ha. I went to bed at almost 4 this morning (AGAIN!?) and woke up 11ish. Then, I read for a bit..(The Hunger Games...finally decided to start the series...so far...SO good!). Then....
I SCRAPBOOKED! For real. With bits of paper and ink and everything. I was a "scrapbooker" for almost 10 years, and then I just sort of quit when I got married. I had so much fun just playing again....I'll be sharing my layouts in the next day or two. I love them!
I meant to get my Christmas tour post up, as it was mega-link Friday. Instead, I did the above mentioned tasks and looked at everyone else's pictures instead. That's way more fun that picking up the laundry and dishes that would be in the way in my pictures. I am hoping to take some pictures this weekend though! We barely decorated last year...so I definitely want to document this year's lovelies.
My favorite is my vintage-ish Santa. He just looks vintage...but really he's from Hob Lob. I LLLLLove him!
Here's a peek at the shelves in the dining room. Well, the top of one shelf anyway. The other two shelves look pretty much the same.
And, here is our tree....sort of. We are missing the box with my wreath, stockings and a few other decorations. SO frustrating! I will show more pictures in the tour post. I love our little glitter western couple.
And, here is my tree skirt....ha. Notice the light strands that are all droopy. Crazy cat. He just can't help himself but to get in trouble ALL THE LIVELONG DAY while the tree is up. Wears me out!
Aslan would probably have a blast with this tree. It's at the Gaylord Texan hotel. It's ginormous...and it spins. There are tons and tons and tons of things to look at out there....all so beautiful. Also, there are lots and lots of people.
Speaking of lots and lots of people, the other night Dalton had his Christmas program at school. It was just kindergarten, but there were a ton of people crowded into that cafeteria. It was SO cute. Dalton was looking so handsome!!
Here we are afterwards. I'm looking.....lovely, no? Oh well. I just love this boy!!
He kept looking over at us and waving. All the kids were doing that. At one point a kid yelled "I love you grandma". Haha. It was just all so cute!!
Singin'.....
We are celebrating Christmas with my in-laws tomorrow. And, by tomorrow, I mean in 11 hours. I still have a gift to wrap, a bed to make, laundry to do...and I'm hoping sleep comes before 4 in the morning!!
Happy Weekend!
