Yeah....that sounds a lot better than "I dropped the ball on my own challenge...big time", right?
Anyway...I do want to be sure and take some great photos over the next few weeks, and I found this holiday photo checklist on pinterest, so I'm going to try and mark off as many of these as I can.

In other Christmas news...we pretty much have the casa decorated. However, we are missing a box with things like the tree topper, wreath, and stockings. I'm hoping we find it tonight so we can be done with everything! Although, I'm more than likely to pick up (or create) a new decoration here and there...there are some great sales already on holiday decorations!
I have been wanting to paint a Santa painting for the fireplace (my faux fireplace that C built...I'm so excited!! pictures coming soon!). I would love to buy a Santa painting...but that cuts into my gift budget...so I will try my hand at painting. I started mine this afternoon...and a painter...I AM NOT. Ha. It's a mess...but hopefully I can pull it together. Good thing I'm going for "whimsical"...I think that leaves a lot of room for flaws. Ha.

I like this one a lot. If the one I found online to copy (which I will share when I share my painting) doesn't turn out right...I might try this one...y'all know I love the leopard!

Speaking of pinterest....I have been noticing the last couple of weeks that there were hardly any new pins on my home page (my feed, I guess you would call it?) and all the new ones were from like 3 people. I am following several people...so I just figured everybody had sort of quit pinning.
WELL...like two days ago one of the girls I followed LIT UP my feed with a bunch of pins that I was not interested in at all, so I went and unfollowed her (harsh, I know). And...VOILA all of my pinning buddies started showing up in my feed again. Weird, huh? Has this happened to y'all?
