31 Days Inspired :: Day 2 :: How You Doin?

I'm a night owl. I rarely go to bed before 2 am...and if by chance I am in bed early...I promise you I wont be asleep before 2. I've ALWAYS just preferred being up late (and..naturally...waking up late).

I'm also ... for lack of better words ... addicted to the show FRIENDS.

I know every word of every episode and I have literally worn out several of my dvds. The show just never gets old to me. I have watched some of the episodes 100+ times...and I still laugh out loud. Just love it.

The show came on when I was a sophomore...but I didn't start watching until that spring. My great-grandmother passed away that April...and I just remember not laughing for several days...until I watched an episode of Friends. I don't think I missed a Thursday night until the finale. Seriously.

I will randomly quote the show, and I joke that I can't help that the show is just so relate-able. Ha.
So what do my late nights and Friends fascination have to do with 31 days Inspired? I actually watch the show to get inspired!

It started out just being a dvd I would put in when I was doing homework, or scrapbooking and later..designing (for school, work, and now..blog designing). After a few years of doing that...I guess my brain somehow associated watching the show with being creative.
The show is pretty light-hearted. It's funny. And, the colors and patterns (Phoebe's clothing...for example) are just fun. I can't help but be happy when it's on.

I could probably share just about any FRIENDS image I found on the internet...or any clip from YouTube ..but I thought I would just share some of my favorites.

Y'all know the PIVOT scene is my most favorite scene ever. I can't not say it when the situation arrives. It's even funnier when someone else "gets" it.

Was it the sun? hahahahah

And then Joey says: "You can't do anything right...."

I've been known to scream this if I see something I shouldn't be seeing.

Still funny.

FUNNY!

This is probably the episode I laughed loudest at (well second to PIVOT).

Okay, enough of that. I will say that one episode is not watched around here...and has no source of inspiration tied to it...and that is the last one. I think I've seen that episode twice? I just can't watch it. It's better to live in denial!

Oh my gosh, I pink puffy heart Friends!!! My husband doesn't understand why I have to watch it whenever it comes on. And I really do reference almost every situation to Friends. Love it!!

Just found this post through pinterest and wanted to thank you for the laugh. I think my husband might be getting irritated with me saying all the lines out loud. My favorite show of all time. I've often said I can turn anything into a Friends reference. Thanks for making my night!
